The Valemount Visitor/Interpretive Centre is the perfect first stop for anyone visiting Valemount. Friendly staff provide great local and provincial information, maps, room reservations, and bookings for local activities. The Whistle Stop Gallery
The Whistlestop Gallery is located in the Historic McBride Train station at the end of McBride's Main street. The Gallery represents over 65 area Artists in such mediums as oil and watercolour painting, photography, ceramics, woodworking, quilting, glass works, fabrics, and jewellery. McBride's location in the beautiful Robson Valley between the Cariboo and Rocky Mountains is an inspiration to all area artists. Situated on highway 16, 150 kilometers (90 miles) west of Jasper National Park, McBride is a favourite stop for travellers on route to Alaska.
